The Bournemouth Football Association was formed in 1920 and has been running football competitions in the Bournemouth area continually since then. The current formation consists of the Hayward Saturday League, which has six divisions, and the Hayward Sunday League which has eleven. In addition there is four M.A.Hart Cup Competitions held on Saturdays and a further five on Sundays.
